I've got nothing truly insightful to say about it, but it made me smile. It was my favorite episode before I realized how deep it was (or really, how all of the episodes had higher meanings/references)
Also, if you care to, you should check out the earlier episodes from WWII. I saw a few sophomore year, and they're pretty intense. In one, Bugs Bunny is a fighter pilot for America and fights 'The Japs'. He says things like, "I'll get those slant-eyes!" and the Japanese are represented as buck-toothed, bowl-cutted, and wear glasses.
How dare you have the audacity to criticize American imperialism! Don't you know we were the glorious freedom fighters bringing love and democracy to the whole world? It is our duty to destroy all traditional cultures all over the globe and replace them with soulless materialism and individualistic self-indulgence. I am so going to report you and your insidious hate crime to the Thought Police, you fucking commie-nazi-terrorist!
