I remember watching about 15 minutes of this movie freshmen year of college. I think the part which stuck out most in my mind was the time lapse scene of people inside a train station. I should really see the whole thing, along with Koyaanisqatsi.
Oh by the way, I've been wanting to call you for a while now, although I have been unsure as to what is a good time, since you have two jobs and all.
There are a few striking scenes in that film. The one above just seems to resonate with me personally, especially at the time I first saw it. I'll have to see Koyaanisqatsi also.
I'm not working the two jobs anymore. I quit them and started working at amazon.com. Actually, I'm responding to this from work. You will be able to contact me in the evenings, sometime after 6, although we do have dinner from around 6-7:30. Weekends are good too.
