LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy has been announced, for release this Fall. Preview screenshots available here.

The developers have announced that the characters in LSW2 will have more distinct capabilities and attacks, e.g. Palpatine will invoke Force Lightning, and Vader can Force Choke.

I just envisioned stickybear seeing God, and this is what it looked like.

Actually, did cmat mention stickybear's discovery? Somehow he figured out how to knock the arms and legs off of random protocol druids, so that they kind of stump around.

Yeah, some of the droids display specific injuries when damaged -- General Grievous' bodyguards (with the lightsaber-like staffs) lose their heads after a couple of points of damage, but keep fighting...
