Sometimes insomnia isn't so bad. I can walk about the yard and enjoy the night blooming flowers. The coyote digging in my compost heap looked up at me as if I was disturbing a gourmet at a five diamond restaurant I could smell her and realized she was on heat. No wonder she was "fearless". I think you should consume whatever you want. The world has room for Carnivores, omnivores, and vegetarians of every stripe.

When meat was scarce in Europe during and affter WWII. Corpses would be found with large muscles excised as people resorted to eating whatever was available. Holland lost it's tulips as the bulbs had been eaten as well.

So History has many incidence of murder for food even recent history. And fairly direct instances at that.

Not an altogether pleasant train of thought.
