I think that it's best to wait until you have a house before you get a job...well, maybe since you have to find someplace to go, live with Ron for awhile so you and him can work together.

It's understandable that you feel pathetic, but it's not your fault. You got that application...that's a start, no matter how small it may seem. Just fill it out now and put Marcus' address down so the manager thinks you live close by...that's a big plus.

Have your mother pick up a driving book and read through it. From what I've read from it, most of it is common sense.

Don't feel so down.

Maybe get going on school? I find it fulfilling. Man, I tried to get a job, and I just couldn't. Right now I'm really focusing on getting through school. Maybe I'll get a job after grad school, haha.

Don't feel pathetic. If it bothers you that much, concentrate on practicing driving so you can get your license (I don't remember if you've gotten your permit or not, so if you haven't it costs $20 to get one). Once you get your license it will be a lot easier for you to get to jobs, college, and anything else.

A tip for the written test- they ask a lot of questions that you don't need to know to drive. They have a practice knowledge test in the driver's section at www.dol.wa.gov that should give you an idea of how much you should study and what the questions will be like. You don't even have to do that right now. Not having a job or going to college is no big deal. At least you graduated.
