Yay!!! FREE CAKE DAY!!! :)

Lots of movement on the wedding front. We've made a guest list (*squee!!*) and I think we have it down to about 75 adults. (Hopefully it stays that way.) Also, I think we're pretty much decided on Publix for catering, cake and flowers. I think we can keep it right at or just over 1K for all three...and that's pretty fucking awesome. So much to update on! We've found a venue for both the ceremony AND the reception! We decided not to go with the lightner in st augustine, as it was faaarrr too expensive. The place we've chosen is in historic five points in jacksonville, and it's called the Riverside house. Luckily, we can have both the ceremony and reception in the same place ( Read more... )

It's so pretty!! The bridge can be decorated with tulle or whatever I want to cover up the chipped paint on the rail. He would come up one side of the bridge, and I would come up the other, and the guests would sit in three of the corners of the courtyard. I was reading through one of the wedding communities on lj and this girl was complaining about finding the right shoe. Got me thinking...I HATE heels. I mean, they look downright sexy, but I just can't wear them. What the hell shoes am I going to wear??
