Or anyway, I was. This job-hunting process is far more humbling than I ever imagined. I confess that in two short months I was reduced to a sobbing, pessimistic, self-deprecating meatstack. This all culminated in an all-out ragequit cover letter that I wrote while skipping exercise, just to vent.

If you go to career seminars, they have this cool tip to actually analyze the wording in the job post and break down the specific hard skills and soft skills they're looking for and then give examples in your cover letters to indicate without specifying that you have those skills.

I've been to a few career seminars before, but they never seemed as useful as they hyped. I find I have an easier time showing my resume/cover letter to people and letting them beat me in the head with it.
It's so funny how people are surprised that I suck at this. lol I hate selling myself. Even that sentence sounds wrong to me. That's probably the tip of the iceberg. lol
