I've actually tried to avoid knowing much about Twilight so far. I find some of the comments I see about it amusing, but I fear knowing too much about it, because every time I learn something about it, I feel physical pain ( Read more... )

Yes, but the om nom nom uterus eating is the best. Oh I love it so. The movie at least is an improvement on the books, as it is much shorter.

Also, the heroine is not misunderstood, nor particularly angsty. Just idiotic.

Also also, it's beloved by adolescent girls and lonely stay-at-home moms.

Edward's a weenie and it's not like it even actually seems like he could eat her. He's chock full of Values and Morals. Utter entertaining dreck. Plus sparkly vampire baseball.

my 14 year old girl has been going on and on about this movie since they started filming it... sigh. still, if there are salt and vinegar crisps at hand it might be excellent
