I think you're probably the most poetic writer on lj. Very deep. : ) If you'd like, we could have dinner sometime - there are some great places around campus: TGI Fridays, B dubs, Olive Garden (I bet they have garlic bread!! Yum!!) - and they might have a Skyline...no White Castle though...; ) I'm really beginning to miss everyone too. I guess we were really spoiled to be able to have almost everyone home, having semi-weekly dinners at Mary and Josh's place. What could be better...food and friends - two things I love most in life.
I have a break from 1:50 till 6:05 tomorrow (Wed)- if you have time/want to hang out, call my cell, I'll have it turned on for a change. Hope your first class went well.
Good to hear that you're getting this stuff off of your chest. It's actually good for you to get all of your emotions and feelings out on this thing. I haven't updated mine much either. If you ever need somebody to talk to just give me a ring on my cell. I know I can't come home right now, but talking to somebody might help. Hopefully after soccer season I'll be able to come home and we could get ppl to do random stuff. This stuff that's happening is all a part of growing up and it sucks sometimes. Well I think I've rambeled to much I need sleep. Hope things are going well.
I feel for you when you talk about remembering someone you have lost. For me, studying Japanese is painful because I learned a fair number of the characters by remembering where they fit in Kumikos name. So, I think about her everytime I write anything in Japanese. I will just have to try to move past it, as difficult as it is...
In any case - We are all on that stream, and we all have paddles. I would not say you were stuck, but moving steadily along towards a higher finishing point than most. You will be able to do alot of good once you have your degree.
In any case, I am around. By around, I of course mean in Japan - but you are welcome to visit anytime or we can meet up in Hawaii or something. Spring Break Thailand? Call me on Skype sometime...
You should have called me! Oh wait, you couldn't because you don't have my number. Here, let me fix that one little problem: (412)736-1714. Call me anytime, day or night, I usually have my phone on me. I would be more than happy to go to dinner sometime, given enough notice, since I do things rather spur of the moment. I know you are at your parent's house, however, I have no freaking idea where that is! Hehe, I am obviously still at UD, being younger than you grown up peeps. I miss you a ton and keep meaning to call you or IM you, but haven't seen you online of late. Muah! Callll meeeeee! I love ya babe.
(Oh yeah, I have a car now, so as long as you are semi in the area, distance is not a problem. =])
