Didn't take this long to get my hearing back from the concert. Though, that would've been completely awesome if it had. I mean, I'm sure I'd need hearing aids and such, but damn...can you imagine that ( Read more... )

Somehow reminiscent of Keats? But I am just a silly English major, so that's probably why your LJ reminds me of a long dead writer from the Romantic Era ( ... )

it's good to hear from you again (and to hear that you're writing still). despite all your worries, your head is in the right place, you're looking in the right direction, so don't worry about where your feet will take you. just keep dreaming, kid.

and paul, post a picture of your hair!

There is a "right" person out there for everyone... I truly believe that... That person comes into your life at the right time and for all the right reasons... and she will appreciate your romantic side... she has to, or she is not your "right" person....

I know this sounds optimistic for me, but things have greatly changed since we talked last... we need to catch up... drop me a line if you need/want to chat....

Remember, everything is ok in the end, if its not ok, then its not the end....

Maybe the girls you know are just a little TOO pro-feminism.

Hey Paul! First I wanna say I love reading your posts. Your depth and ability to experss yourself always astounds me. Second, and I've told you this before, you are truly one of a kind. There are very few MEN out there who ARE "old fashioned" with gentlemanly courtesies like opening the door for women and pulling out the chair. While some girls do fall into the extreme feminism category, most of us have been dragged into this modernism and guys like you catch us off-guard and makes us slightly uncomfortable only because it's so uncommon these days. I'm pleased to hear that you are not working on changing your self, but only improving it. You, unfortunately, are a dying breed of true gentlemen and the only way to keep that alive is to stand strong in your beliefs and pass them on to others--men around you who may be inspired to be the same, women around you who are no longer used to being treated as ladies, and one day your children who will learn at a young age the proper ways to treat and be treated. Don't ever let that die.
