Every time I eat at Taco Bell I swear it will be my last and then time passes and I forget how horrible it makes me feel. But I was so hungry! And that's where my Stone Belt dude wanted to go and I hadn't eaten in 8 hours! I was delusional! I should have just waited! That Baja Blast was pretty good, though ( Read more... )

Baja Blast

Is that what it's called before or after you eat it?

Anyway, I said it on Nick's journal but not yours: I'm really sorry about Lucy. I definitely feel you on the companion animals being like siblings comment. When Rose died, that's exactly how I felt. I can't help but wonder who's going to run the Romy household now that she's gone.

So as to not end on a down note, I think we should play Warcraft II at some point over the summer. I played some III today and I was thinking about how it's really half-assed in a lot of ways. Old school death knights kick new school death knights' asses. Oh, and don't even get me started on the sound for the new Temple of the Damned!

Warcraft never worked for me. I always wanted to not kill the other people and just make a cute little village and pave the streets. And they just kept attacking me...

Matt, I am also very sorry about Lucy. At least you were able to be there at the end.I'd write another haiku about it, but I'm not sure that would be appropriate.

So, what? You thought you could just clearcut their olive trees, undermine their gold economy and build settlements all over the place with no reprisal? You call it peace, I call it ethnic cleansing!

I'm sorry about your T.B. experience.

Actually, the act of digging a grave made me feel a lot better just because it was something physical to put my negative emotions in to, if that makes any sense.

Matt, I went looking for a pretty poem to post as a reply, but most poems about death/loss are really fucking depressing.

So here's this instead:

You're working with Stone Belt? My mommy works at Stone Belt. She's the Korean lady.

I haven't seen any Korean ladies at the 10th St. office, but I'm never there long when I am and usually only to turn in my hours. I work out at a cosumer's apartment.
