Ever get a tube shoved up your urethra?

If you anwered yes to this question I feel for you because I just did. At approximately 2:45pm this afternoon Dr. Smith shoved it right up through my urethra into my bladder. It was almost bearable until it passed through my prostate.

I'm wondering if invasion is quantifiable regardless of parts. As in, would a routine gynecological exam be n, whereas this is n+1?

I was talking to emmibuscemi about that. I'm not sure. How much pain is involved in going to the 'ginacologist? 'Cause this hurt pretty bad even with that numbing gel stuff.

I was talking about the humiliation, not the pain. But, if you will allow me, I would venture that the pain and humilation you felt this one time would maybe approximate a woman's entire life of yearly gynecologist exams. Assuming, of course, that they go every year. Which I wouldn't if I didn't need the b.c.

Okay, question: what makes the seminal vesicles seminal? Were they just vesicles before it was cool?

They have something to do with semen. Seminal meaning "Of, relating to, containing, or conveying semen or seed." (dictionary.com) But vesicle means "of or relating to a bladder (especially the urinary bladder)." Which leads to two questions:
1) Why does your bladder produce its own semen?
2) What other kind of bladder is there beside the urinary kind?

I'm in revolt against the word "seminal" in non-semen contexts.

Semen comes from the testis and is stored in the vas deferens, but the juice stuff comes from the seminal vesicles, the prostate, and the Cowper's glands.
