It's always great to read about your self development projects. Don't know if there was a particular impetus for them, but they seem like things I ought to do-- cooking and bartending especially. All good stuff.

And holy heck, look at the biceps on that trivia pro.

The impetus is sort of "I want to be good at things" with a dash of "this helps keep me occupied" and "I enjoy this." I like food and drinking, so I may as well get good at making food and drinks. :)

And yeah, that dude works out on second-tier level. Most people go with a "I'm going to do elliptical machine for 30 minutes, and then do some stairmaster." He's one of those guys that has to measure his protein intake for blah blah blah. It's way complicated. Haha.
