hi craig,

I'm most sorry to bother you with this. I was wondering if you could you possibly assist me with something. my car stereo sticks out because of the way they have it set up in my truck. one night I forget the faceplate was down and when I changed gears I hit it. now it moans and barely wants to open. in fact it will not open unless I force it with my hand after I hit the power button. do you think it would cost a lot to get something like that fixed?

No need to be apologetic. This is a perfect place to bother me with something like this. It would probably cost more than you want to pay to get it fixed $50+ if they can even do it. For a $250 stereo I wouldn't get it done, I'd just deal with it till you want a new one, if you can still make it work. I am sure if you called the factory line they could tell you about how much it would be, and don't forget, you have to pay shipping each way too.
