In the never-ending quest to shed time off of my runs, I took a
Chi-Running clinic with some friends of a couple of weeks ago. I read the book before attending, but after working with the instructor, it really began to click.
Before the clinic:
5.2 miles @ 10:35/mi - 154 bpm avg hr
4.0 miles @ 10:42/mi - 146 bpm avg hr
After the clinic:
4.0 miles @ 10:10/mi - 147 bpm avg hr
7.2 miles @ 9:28/mi - 153 bpm avg hr
I feel like I've taken a big step towards my goal of a sub 6 hour Half IM - I'm excited!
