Why'd summer seem so slow until the last 3 weeks of it. Between goodbyes and AP work it seems that every minute needs to be spent the best or I'm going to miss saying goodbye to someone, regret not seeing them, or not finish my work. I've never honestly considered people leaving. I expected the high school excitement and joy to keep going until I was through with it, for things not to stop happening until i ended them, for people to stay until I stopped enjoying their company.
