That said, this is a very yummie and fairly cheap place, so I'm happy to have found it.

So this internship is fun so far. I'm getting to do all sorts of things. Tasks this past week included:
Beginning construction of a briefing memo on organic food regulations,
Calling a FDA scientist to follow up a lead we've heard about,
Sitting in and taking minutes on a meeting between two 60 Minutes producers and some Read more... )

So, as I completely fail at doing my post-a-week resolution, I'll make an overdue update.

So classes are done for the semester, and things have ended up well. I enjoyed all the projects I had for the three classes, and I've already gotten one grade back (an A, woohoo!). ( Projects were: )

So, I had my interview today, and, well, I think I may have overly impressed them. Or at least my resume did. The interviewer kept trying to make certain that I knew that this was an internship, and what was involved. Apparently they usually interview undergrads. I think I intimidated her.
