We've been watching a series on DVD called 'People Like Us'. We first heard of this some years ago when it was a radio series, then they brought it out as a TV series. If you have seen 'The Office' then you've an inkling of the way it works (and some of the actors are the same as the English version). But it isn't the same show by any means

I've seen one of these. IIRC, Mallard was interviewing a guy who dreamed of opening his own photography studio... and possibly the photographer was played by Bill Nighy? or maybe just someone who looked like him. His photography was,let's just say, nothing special.

Yes, that was Bill.

There are some other familiar faces in there as well. The policeman actor had a small part in The Office and I've seen him on Spooks (season 1 episode 2) and a smaller part here was also a small part on The Office and also on Dr Who.

I expect these people all know each other.
