Why do they want it? because other people who have it seem to enjoy it. nobody ever says that, but thats what it is. I don;t think that I cam for kvutsah. hey. im sorry to hear that you are feeling disillusioned by workshop. if it makes you feel any better, i think everyone goes through their ebb and flow of agreement with habonim ideals. i broke down during seminar month and thought i should leave workshop because i was a capitalist. but, i'll tell you this: staying till the end was the best thing i could have done. and everything that you are learning on workshop of course needs to be taken with a grain of salt. it's such a closed environment that it can feel out of context and confusing.
i hope this momnent passes for you. being open to accepting what workshop can give you is the only way you will.
