Looks like I'm going into surgery for my salivary gland. Short procedure though.

Have I mentioned I'm tired of school. darned tired.

I'm updating on my brand new (not lap top) computer.  Yay college money.  It has enough memory on it that I can run my Chow Yun Fat game on it.  I may have something to do tonight.

Well, I went to the doctor today and my ultrasound showed that my thyroid is normal....YAY! My throat/ear is still really hurting even though I finished two courses of antibiotic and am taking round the clock anti-inflamatory medication so the doctor decided to check out my salivary gland. Pat and I are thinking about buying a second computer. We need one to use for my school work. Here is what we are trying to decide: laptop or desktop? Opinions please. I'm partial to desktop because the laptops have such dinky keyboards but I imagine I'd get used to that after a bit.

Any words of advise?

Well, I got a call from my mom today and it seems that my grandma left a CD for me. That was nice of her. I plan on using it to get another computer. Right now I have to practically get into a fist fight to compute and getting papers written is pretty hard that way. If I have my own computer that may become easier ( Read more... )

Well, I got my paper written...such that it is.

My great grandmother died this afternoon. Well, she was in her mid nineties, so she did live a good long life. We don't know what killed her yet.

Well, Kari got out of surgery OK. I'm glad. I was worried because she has had severe bad reactions to anesthetics before, but the docs got it right this time and she got through with little (or very very little I should say) post-op nausea.
