On Wednesday, just_human and I rode up to Austin, MN to meet an LJ friend, yanichka, and visit the Spam Museum. It was interesting, but more or less a large museum-format ad for Spam. Stroke
My mother appears to have had a miniature stroke this morning. Test reveal a spot of necrotic tissue in the part of the brain that controls blood pressure, and both Systolic and Diastolic pressures were both at least 20 mmHg higher than normal. They're going to do some sort of tests on her caratid artery, but it doesn't look like she's in a life- ( Read more... ) -
The weekend
I had a relatively good, but ultimately tiring and expensive weekend. My folks have a problem with their yard wherein dirt that is normally supposed to gently slope away from the house instead briefly slopes down and then back up, creating a berm that traps water.
