Melodicas are easy to play, I've heard, even an amateur can get a nice tune out of it. But no, I don't know how to play I'm afraid. :-\

Detachment is definately a useful skill, just don't let it overcome you.

Keeping a real, tangible journal is do hard. My problem is always that I keep it for like a week, then I read back over the thing and decide that it's all shit and either stop writing or (when I'm really frustrated) mark out everything I've written and write things like "shit" all over it, then 5 minutes later I feel childish and then I don't write for a while.

Will you mail me Battle Royale? I'll mail you Rimbaud's complete works, and anything else you might want. (may I suggest Dostoevsky?)

Hah, we're in the same boat. Calling ones journal paper "white trash" is definitely one of those cross-out type things, but it's just too funny to let go.

Of course I'll send it to you. Send me anything you like cause I'll probably like it too.
