Hrmph ... family!

It seems that my family doesn't approve of me going off for the weekend.  "Something MUST be wrong" - things along those lines.

Is there really something wrong with wanting a change of scenery?  Or of wanting a little "non-grownup" time - time to be with friends?  Really?

Aargh.

No - its just annoying! And really, only mildly so. I guess I was a little surprised - and I shouldn't have been! :-)

There is nothing wrong with getting away from your family once in a while. It makes you a better parent. I know, I've done it and still do it on occasion! I'm thankful that Mom is taking both the girls away for a week or so this summer! Par-tay! :)
