Yay... good food, good wine, good friends...what more could a woman want?
It has been a fantastic weekend - the Melting Pot last night with my husband, the kids having a sleepover at Grandma's, and dinner at Rockefeller's (seafood) with my husband and our other halves...lol (R&R).
Now, for sleep, sleep, sleep to recover from the festivities :-D. -
Walk for Epilepsy in DC
There is a national walk for epilepsy scheduled for March 27, 2011 and Andy and I are hoping/planning to participate. I am still trying to decide whether to try to get a team together or not, or simply participate as individuals.
We would need to come up to DC Friday night and stay - oh the agony! Seeing my friends again! lol

Well, I'm off to a stunning start...
I broke my foot last night. Yes, that's right ... BROKE it...and I'm not sure what happened. I know I came down a couple of stairs in a fashion not normally good...but the entire top of my foot is bruised. I swear I do not remember slamming my foot into anything that hard ( Read more... ) -

Thoughts on the end of the year...
I am grateful that my son chatters like a magpie now! It took an extra long time, but it was well worth it...though I would like the occasional five minutes of quiet...lol ( Read more... ) -
Hrmph ... family!
It seems that my family doesn't approve of me going off for the weekend. "Something MUST be wrong" - things along those lines.
Is there really something wrong with wanting a change of scenery? Or of wanting a little "non-grownup" time - time to be with friends? Really?
