Sean was away this weekend, so I pretty much had the house to myself, and I didn't have a car available. On Saturday I walked to "downtown" Ballard, and got my hair trimmed, and wandered down Ballard Ave. I'd never been down that way before! Baked apples are fantastic.

And I recently acquired two more highly entertaining books of silly old-ish girl's/women's literature that you could read if transport for either you or them could be arranged. (and I do think that the full-blown romance-novels-which-wouldn't-exist-without-the-romance are less fun)
