Suggestions Needed

So Pedro and I are trying to plan a much needed vacation in early August and so far we're thinking about going to San Francisco and the surrounding area.  Neither one of us has been to California and we thought that it would be a neat place to explore.  So I need suggestions about what to do and where to stay from people that have been there...(Sue

Fine! Let me just DIE of jealousy RIGHT NOW.

Omg, as far as SF goes, you virtually have go...EVERYWHERE. No, I mean that. From downtown to the Mission, to the GG Park, Muir Woods... pretty much the entire city and surrounding areas.

You should talk to my Dad. He knows the whole area like the palm of his hand, and I think he misses it sorely.

You won't regret SF. GO! :D
