Always so happy to see a comment from you :) I'm glad this story keeps the boys alive, but it makes me sad for all the iterations of them that lie unfinished.

As for Jack ending up with a ring on his finger - we shall see.... :)

a confrontation

this was just the best. way to short though. i loved it. it was so good to see the boys really facing the damage they did to each other. i liked ennis saying he'd ask jack to marry him right then. it really told jack where he was at. and i like the place. i like seeing ennis waiting for jack for a change. i just can't say how moving this chapter was for me.

you mentioned that you're editing this. does that mean that you're going to change the names and submit it for publication when you're done with it? i'd like to see you work up the conversation between ennis and jack a little more.

as usual. i can't wait for the next installment. gr

Thank you for the feedback on the conversation. I like to hear things like that. They do talk more over the coming chapters, and I'm constrained by the word limits set for novels, but I've got some wiggle room so it's good to know about areas where readers would like a section expanded, or cut down, or if something feels just plain old out of place.

I would get stuck on the "marry me" part, but I'm more pragmatic.... I'm more curious about what Ennis and Josh talked about that he didn't want to tell Jack ? ;o)
