I bet Animal sabotaged the pipe so you would feel strong and independent while he was away. The man is nefarious!

The only fallacy with that is he knows I'm independent. Wouldn't it better to make me need him?
I've even worked out the high shelf issue. Cinroll's boyfriend came over to get the Christmas tree down from the garage overhead storage.
