I've been trying to loose weight and get in shape on my own and with free classes at the VA, but to no avail. Bedtime Reading
As you all know, I run the financial end of our business, and as such receive a lot of information from the IRS on tax law. Today, I got an update linked to an 80 page document explaining the more common reasons people give for not paying taxes, or even submitting their returns, and the case rebuttals that ensued.

Government Bureaucracy
Yesterday I received a notice that our company (comprised of animal_co and myself) was out of compliance because I had failed to file an Annual Report. Of course, I never got the notice to do so in the first place, or I would have done it.
So I go to the state website to fix this, and find that it is only a verification that we still are running a company ( Read more... ) -
Pet Peeves
I accept help from the family in cleaning and stuff, since I'm not always physically able to do it. But I still hold with the adage "If you want something done right, do it yourself."
