Considering the baby in my last post is now two and likes to tell me off whenever she gets any chance (which is often) For instance, she was jumping (no really jumping) around her house other night and when I called her a froggy she looked at me like I was stupid and said, "I'm bunny! Poor baby girl had to go back to the hospital today. They called with the lab results and didn't even tell my sister the numbers, just told her to take the baby back to the hospital, they would be waiting for her.

Bad news about Ellie, her bilirubin levels jumped up to 16.9 overnight (Wednesday) so she may end up back in the hospital. They may end up having to do a blood transfusion on her. Say a prayer for her please and one for my sister. It is absolutely killing her and although she hasn't said anything, I know she is blaming herself. Ellie will go ( Read more... )

The doctor, her regular pediatrician, came by about 4:30 and instead of just ordering the bilirubin tests ordered a full blood panel. Although her bilirubin still hadn't come down from yesterday morning her other blood tests are all normal. She is nice and pink and the doc said that she could go home with a biliblanket and my sister has to bring ( Read more... )

They have transferred Babygirl to the peds ward, they are keeping her another day trying to lower her bilirubin levels. They had her under the lights yesterday morning when I got there and when I went back at 7 they had added the biliblanket trying to keep them from going higher. Born at 5:08a.m. today. She is sooo cute! I was able to stay in the delivery room while she was born. Video taped the whole thing, in a very PG way.

One of my friends (stars91)has posted a poll on her LJ, well the results to the poll was supposed to be closed off to all viewers but ppl can see it.
