i've read a few people say that DH read like a fanfic.

i even made the comment at how much fic writers had gotten right.

so i meant it as a compliment to the talented fic writers who called things correctly and did a fair go at jkr's style. NOT as a snide criticism of the book.

her writing isn't 'high art'. but i don't think it's ever claimed to be.

I'm in total agreement! While reading it I was wondering if Jo happened to be surfing one day and started looking into fanfiction! LOL!

It's more KUDOS to those fanfic writers who's guesses turned out to be either spot on or very nearly so!

There is no complaint in my comment for Jo and her fabulous series! I just think a lot of "OUR" fanfic writers have really picked up on how to write like Jo, and that makes "OUR" fanon world wonderful!

ain't that the truth! it was the trio-est book evah and i did love that aspect.

i'm not saying i don't have quibbles, but it's just that one i think is unfair.
