when i was a baby my family had a mini schnauzer (like einey, minus the yorkie parts) and he died tragically as a result of injuries sustained from a run in with the local golden retriever. so you can imagine my fright when patrick calls me last night to tell me that einey got bit by another dog. my heart nearly stopped

Oh my goodness, that's so scary! Very happy to hear that Einey is okay after the nom'ing, poor thing.

The pit bull's owner should be smacked however (both literally and with any of your vet bills).

I dunno what you do in your job, but I really have to tell you, after looking at the last three months of Previews, DC Direct rocks. Just... rocks. For the third month I have seen stuff in that book that made me think, "I can make this the centerpiece of my store. All eyes should be drawn to this." I cannot wait to get this stuff in my store and sell the crap out of it. I'm just trying to tell you... DC Direct is awesome. But you probably already knew that.
