As of Friday, I'm officially teaching all 8th grade American History next year. This is amazing. This year, I teach two different subjects, one of which is American History. I have this letter saying that I am offered a job during the summer teaching reading at my school. I heard it pays really well (mid-20s per hour) and other teachers tell me the lessons are already created for you, almost like a script. No grading papers or planning needed.
