I got my eleven year old son’s latest school report this week.  I had barely started reading before I was smiling.  That great big smile you get when you feel like you are going to burst

My little brother's on the spectrum as well. It's interesting what you said about your son and dinosaurs at a young age. For my brother, it was numbers. He could count and count and count. It didn't matter what he was counting, as long as he had something to count.

Your son sounds like a great kid.

He's a brilliant kid both literally and figuratively he is so bloody clever so confident and so clever.

Numbers are common it's amazing what they retain. What age is your brother

I remember once when I was about 8 and he was maybe 4, we were riding in my dad's car and my brother's little pipsqueak voice come from the back seat "One plus one is two. Two plus two is four. Four plus four is eight. Eight plus eight is sixteen..." and on and on. I had a little pocket calculator, trying to keep up with him. This little FOUR-YEAR-OLD managed to add into the billions in his head.

Now he's 29 and has his PhD. in theoretical physics. :)

He is a brilliant young man to meet and even better to get to know he just has such a different way of looking at life it always keeps me entertained

This brought tears to my eyes. I would love to meet your son. He must have an enormous heart, and that is not a bad thing.

He has a heart as big as Texas and when you are his the kid would walk on fire for you he is a truly amazing child. I'd love to have a friend like him :)
