I didn't read all of it because it was far too sensationalistic for me.. the points he set out in the first half should be clear to almost anyone with half a brain - of course civiliaztion as it is now cannot continue forever, and i have no doubt that it will not. I don't mean the end of humanity just the end of everything that we take for granted now. I think it is the mayan calendar which puts 2012 as the end of civiliazation. *shrug*
His point is not that this is happening (we all know that), but that if you put it all together Bush's apparantly crazy attitude becomes intelligible as a survival of the fittest raping of resources before the crunch.
So people who claim he dosn't know what he's doing should consider the possiblity that he knows exactly what he's doing.
