Did you know that camels have some of the longest cameltoes in the animal kingdom? The average camel's cameltoe is about three feet long, and in some extreme cases, a cameltoe's length may interfere with the camel's ability to walk. In fact, their cameltoes can sometimes be accidentally stomped on by other nearby camels, causing serious injury. For reasons such as these, female camels actually prefer mates with shorter cameltoes, as this is often an indication of better evolutionary fitness.
