Aloha from sunny far north queensland. Arrived here last Friday on a red-eye special from Perth, boy was that a fun experience. What a fantastic weekend! Was my 24th on Friday and I awoke to a bed full of gifts from the 'children'. The cats and dogs had gone in halfsies to get me some new gym gear and Stint spoilt me with a fancy gym bag. Just arrived home from a week long Ski/Culture Tour to Canberra with 170 Year 9 students. I am absolutely shattered, one can only imagine the joys involved with chaperoning school tours. Exam time is over! Well, they weren't my exams, they were the students, but I like to say they were my exams :) Adds a bit of excitement to things. After spending weeks upon weeks (actually more like one day) writing the Chem exam for my students, it was over in one day. Then we had to spend weeks marking the blasted thing.
