We were so impressed with our new kitty, now named Diva for how she swept into the house and charmed everyone - that we decided to get another one. And came home with TWO more!

Gorgeous kitties as always!

Part of the reason I left NaNo was I just got tired of juggling the in front of scenes and behind scenes stuff. The stuff that happened in my inbox privately was at times most unpleasant and very hard not to take personally. So I backed off and have been trying to enjoy writing just for me. I think it was something you said about doing to much and not enjoying any of it... though I maybe attributing that to you instead of the person that said it!

Work has been stressful, the house is a disaster zone and I just wanted to hide. Still am.

I think it must be incredibly difficult to try to shepherd such a large and diverse group. I'm beginning to think its success is beginning to be its downfall - it's becoming so big with so many different people that it's almost impossible to please anyone (let alone everyone) with one's posts.

The fun seems to be disappearing under egos.

I've taken a step back today trying to not let my distress at what happened spill over into my attitude towards writing in general.

Come and hide with us and our kitties someday. We can hide together. I won't tell them where we are if you don't.. *grins*
