... has lost her sheep.

Well...

Her dragon anyway.

Not that I'm Bo Peep's Dragon as no one can really own a dragon, but you get what I mean. I think!

Anyways, I've been busy. Some of it has been busy doing nothing and some of it's been busy doing lots of things. ( Read more... )

I know what you mean about having the stamina to finish things. I think one of the items on my 101 list is to finish three things I've already started. I have three left to go. :-)

Can Tygrr get any recognition of prior learning (RPL) for her ambo work? I guess at the worst she'll be studying stuff she already knows.
It was suggested to me that I do the Special Tertiary Admissions Test for uni, but if I take that path I'd rather finish my high school SACE certificate simply for the satisfaction. I got the impression that the admission test is a pretty simply affair, mostly designed to keep timewasters out of uni.

Good luck!

No, RPL is out because her qualifications were from overseas (where things are done very differently) and they are also out of date as they have to be recertified regularly which she wasn't able to do out here.

It should mean what she learns isn't too challenging, just adapting what she already knows. The STAT test is worrying her a little because the course at Flinders requires a rank of 90.

Having done the STAT myself I think she'd do pretty good with it. She has a lot of the comprehension and problem solving skills it needs.

Besides, if she couldn't do this, she wouldn't have been an EMT in the states, but we have to convince HER of that...:)

I think it's more a case of her finally getting bumped out of the comfort zone she's been in over the last few years. She'll be fine...:)
