It's raining, and there are these gigantic dragon-things roaming the city.

I can't say I'm terribly bothered by either.  I should be, but... I don't go outside anymore anyway.

I just hope everyone else is okay.

Everyone else - everyone that matters, anyway - is concerned about you.

Since you asked, though...the dragon does make it difficult for me to sleep. It brings up memories I'd rather not think about. Other than that and being stuck underwater, this is one of the better times I've had since I arrived in this city.

((OOC: Strikes deleted, but with Ema learning more about the computer system...wouldn't be totally surprised if she undeleted them.))

They shouldn't be, with everything else going on.

I'm sorry to hear that you haven't been sleeping. What memories do you have of dragons?

((ooc: strikes also deleted because Ema doesn't want to seem nosey, but they're totally reply-able))

A lot of things that shouldn't be still manage to be. You should know that. When it comes to somebody's feelings, there's only one person who can control what and how they feel. Someone else asking them to feel differently only changes how they show it.

At least I can watch the fish while I'm awake. They're few and far between, and if I wasn't so aware of the source of some of this flood water, I'd think they looked delicious.

So, how are you?

((OOC: Strikes deleted, thankfully.))

I suppose. But still, there's nothing to worry about.

We really are desperate for food, huh? At least you have something nice to look at.

I'm alive. That counts for something.
