Bamboo/cotton blend knockers have been on my list of things to buy for some months now

*snort* Hi, I'm five.

Yay for the fabric. I intend to go back to lincraft on Thursday, which is payday, and see what else NEEDS to come home with me. There's no cotton/linen here, sadly, but there are some lightweight silks... and I'm still debating the rest of the green upholstery fabric.

And I didn't think to look for velvetine, which is one of the most heinous fabrics to sew with ever, yet I keep needing it. To live.

Ooh, I want to see the sunflower cotton/linen blend next time I pop around. I've been wondering what colour/material would be best to use for leines.

Oh yes, I was going to suggest you pick some up while it's on special - I left a whole second roll for you ;)

Where - Lincraft City?

Also, how much material do you reckon I need for one leine (I might get enough for 2 though)?

How much material is a roll?

While I'm asking a bunch of noob questions, what's linen thread and why is it special?

Yep, Lincraft city. It’s on the bottom shelf of a table, sort of near the cutting counter, next to cottons, corduroys etc. Lots of bright colours ( ... )

Why thank you! It's a good season for shopping. Get out there and have fun (with a list perhaps, so as not to become overwhelmed).
