2007 Yuletide Recs - Part 1

Last year I did two recommendation posts, but with the sheer bounty of this year's yuletide I suspect I'm going to have more on the order of three or four posts. This generally covers fics from fandoms beginning with the letters A-D but there's a few in there I haven't gotten to yet and I also felt like reading some Elizabeth fic last night...

Oh, that 1602 fic was wonderful! And yeah, the last bit felt out of place (maybe if it'd been used first? It doesn't work as an ending, not after Wolverine's brilliant bit), but it was really sweet. *g*

Hey, a friend mentioned this post when I wondered why a few people had read AMoMM recently. I'm so glad you liked the story, and thanks for reccing it! Not sure if I ever managed to respond to your comment on Yuletide as I only ever received half of the alerts on comments. It was fun to write, and a very cunning prompt!

I wish I could take the credit, but I suspect that it's probably more due to Series 2 starting on BBCAmerica about a week and a half ago. :)

Still, it's a wonderful story and you deserve all the kudos you get for it.

Very! We managed to get the current series of Torchwood and Doctor Who on something like a 2-week delay but for some reason they held on to Robin Hood.

I downloaded most of it at the time, I just never quite got around to watching it...I suspect I've been spoiled for those last ten minutes, but I'll keep it in mind anyway. :)
