Did you touch up the color on this? It's sure vibrant.
The insect looks like some kind of honeybee to me, but the color is all wrong...

I also posted this to an entymology group and it was identified as Agapostemon splendens AKA Sweat Bee.

Did you blur the background or shoot it with a challow depth of field? It looks amazing. Wonderful color pallette.

This is just a shallow depth of field. A lovely result of the f/2.8 aperture. Thanks for the compliment. Now I just hope it will be accepted into the show and then I hope that I will sell about 10 of them.
