Did Lucy die!? What happened!?

Yes, sadly. Lucy passed away July 15th, 2009. I had come home from school in the early evening and the pups greeted me as usual. I sat down to use my laptop and after some time passed, I looked up and saw Lucy laying on her side in the kitchen. I knew something was wrong--Lucy NEVER layed on the kitchen floor. When I touched her she was cold and was starting to stiffen up, so it was obvious that she had been dead for a little while. I have always assumed that she choked on dogfood (she didn't have many teeth) but I never found out for sure. The local vet said that a necropsy is useless unless it is performed immediately upon an animal's death--placing them in the freezer breaks things down and makes the necropsy pointless :(

I miss her so much, she was such a great little girl. But I have faith that she is in a better place now and is no longer ailing from all the things that plagued her when she was Earthbound.
