I was reading through some journals of friends of friends, and found this in retro_rider55 a few days ago. Since I play cards most Sundays, it hit home and I thought I'd give it a try ( Read more... )

i don't play cards really, but if they were ten people i'd like to play a game with ...

1. Delia Peabody - Eve Dallas' sidekick in the In Death series by J.D. Robb
2 - 9 The Scooby Gang - from Buffy (giles, willow, buffy, xander, oz, tara, anya, cordelia)
10. Stephanie Plum's Grandmother from the Janet Evanovich series

if i could only get some of the chracters from Buffy - because that sorta seems like cheating

I'd like Min from Bet Me by Jennifer Crusie and anyone else from the good guys in that book

Umm and Sookie Stackhouse from Charlaine Harris' Southern Vampire series

and the list goes on. It changes depending on who else I pick because some i don't think would go well with others.

Renee Russo's character in Thomas Crown Affair is on this list somewhere also!

I just started reading Janet Evanovich; a friend has loaned me the books with the first three in one volume, but I'm not very far along. I'm liking it so far. But,the same friend just loaned me HP6, so I may have to put the brakes on Stephanie Plum for a while longer :}. Good thought on the Russo character; I can't remember her name, either.

Somehow, I knew Bruce Wayne would be at the top of your list! Rooster Cogburn is a wonderful idea. I wish I'd thought of the West Wing characters, as I'd love that idea. The trouble is I'd want to play with Toby, and Leo, and Pres. Bartlett, and CJ, and Oliver, etc., etc. I love that show!

I've been trying to narrow the list down. There are those on each list posted above that I'd want to include and more...

I've always got a book going and some of the characters are wonderful... BTW just finished the latest Potter. Enjoyed it and can't wait for the last although I don't see how she can possibly tie up all the loose ends in one book.
