“Yes, I will.” He drums the fingers of his right hand lightly on the back of the couch, his smile widening. “There, that wasn’t so hard, was it?”

He looks so pleased with himself that the impulse to punch him hard in the arm fades slightly. Taking another sip of wine, she studies him over the rim of her glass.

I loved that part, it feels like something that could have happened in the show. lol Brilliant.

I'd love to "take a walk towards the docks" too... lol Great story :D

I love a bit of backstory, lovely touch there.

He sees her throat work as she swallows, and his tongue burns to taste the pale skin there. “That's two questions.”
Agghh those two with their deflections. But they wouldn't be them without.

There is so much backstory to be filtered through, and so much we don't know, it's overwhelming, to be honest! You could pretty much make up anything with this show and it would be 'oh, okay, cool' because it's just bananas. LOL.
