Recommendations?

Later this year, I'll be looking to buy a new tablet PC and a large monitor. Do any of you have recommendations or counter recommendations? I'm looking on the mid- to high-end in terms of pricing.

A Mac. They run any operating system you need (OS X, Windows, Linux).

Alas, Apple doesn't make a tablet yet, which I find to be the best tool for lecturing. I borrowed a tablet PC from a research group last summer, and it compared better to using the chalk board, power point, or word. (The only other thing I didn't try were overhead transparencies.)

Oh, duh. I missed the "tablet" part. I just saw "PC and a large monitor".

A Mac on the desk would be a good addition, though.
