I just returned from our annual pilgrimage to the Big Teacher Conference. This time, we did a two-day workshop along with all of the normal two-hour presentations and various schmoozefests. what is the touch of silence? some specialized school teacher martial art, like the touch of death only, er, not so deadly and less noisy?

and the quiet coyote? is that prairie dogging?

someday we'll be club nights together more frequently than twice a year so we can talk about this stuff in person!

You haven't seen the quiet coyote? Man, we really don't hang out enough... :)

Unfortunately, the Touch of Silence sounds much more hard-core than it actually is.

there is a joke in there somewhere ... something to do with audibility of silence. darned if I can tease it out :)

taking a page from "Let me google that for you (you moron)" I see that the Quiet Coyote is indistinguishable from Throwing the Goat. the intersection between heavy metal and the classroom! another situation ripe for humor!
