Moving to blogger
I will be moving to blogger for my sewing journal. One of the many reasons (of course the most prominent being I must ACTUALLY sew something) I haven't put anything up is my computer just doesn't like live journal. Daughters Elizbethan Costume
Here are some pictures of my daughters Halloween Costume I had Elaina try on the other day for my mother. The pics are not very good, and look very blown out from the camera I was using, but it at least shows the shape of it. I will get better pics of the details up soon. The NEW Elizabethan Corset
Quite a while ago I had relocated my lost corset pieces and had planned to put them together but when I finally went to do so I found they were WAAAAYYYY to short! I had used a commercial pattern and didn't mess with the sizing/fitting before cutting (I know, dumb) as I am very short so I never dreamed that the waistline would be off by almost 4 ( Read more... ) -
Looking back on sewing and other things...
WOW! I went back and read some old posts and stuff and cannot believe i have had this journal for about 2 years and have barely posted anything! Also, even more ridiculous, is the things I have intended to make and gotten nowhere near for some reason or another. "Sigh". Okay now, its time to sew stuff! YES!! I feel stoked!!! -

fried my hand on what was SUPPOSED to be a microwave safe mug! had that horrid moment of`holding it before brain registered the pain! i am soooo mad! my palm and 3 `fingers are trying to blister and have to keep it wrapped in ice.great timing with 3 dresses to finish by sunday, 2 i havent eveb cut yet, a 5 page research paper `for my Am. Moulin Rouge underwear
I was not horribly pleased with my Victorian Undies when I cut them out but figured hey, its a pile of white fabric one cannot really judge at this point. I am ashamed to say that these are from last summer's trip to Washington State! The two near the water we taken out at the beach at LaPush and the other one (deer) was in the Hoh RainForest.
