Those are my photos from my trip to Cuba...I posted this a long time ago...way before we met at the Gathering. I hope one day you get the chance to go...it's a fascinating place to visit.

I family friend organizes trips to Cuba. Apparently its not illegal to go, just to spend money there, so Americans cant stay in hotels. She arranges stays in private homes. Sounds pretty cool to me.

Awww! I can't HELP but giggle over the thought of "elephant dung cards," but I do trust they truly are beautiful. It just sounds funny! Dirtym, I just love the very last picture with the dog!!! All the pics are wonderful. A lot of them look so "empty" (of people) though. Were you out really early (or something) taking pictures?
